Music Album Review -- Cyndi Wang (Magic Cyndi)

Oh dear, is sweety princess Cyndi Wang revamping her image?

In her latest album titled Magic Cyndi, Cyndi shows us a different side of her.

On the cover of the album, Cyndi shows us her slim legs while dressed in high heels and long flowing white gown. Photos in her album also shows her bare backed, with fish-net stockings which shows off her slim figure.

Recently, we have witnessed another cutie by the name of Rainie Yang trying so hard to be sexy while in the movie Spider Lilies. Rainie plays a stripper in the controversial movie and shared a kiss with co-star Isabella Leong.

So, who is more convincing in being sexy? I can say that neither of them manages to change my perception of them being cute in the first place.

Okay, back to the review of Cyndi's new album. This latest offering by her comes after an absence of 15 months. The tracks in the album are more or less the same, the sugary tunes strictly for teenagers and fans of her.

Two tracks are worth listening to, namely track 1 (Ai de tian ling ling) and track 2 (na nian xia tian ning jing de hai). Track 1 has some indian influence on it, whereas track 2 is a song dedicated to her late best friend (Xu Wei-lun), according to Cyndi during an appearance of a variety show.

Overall, the album is a decent effort. I can say that its a bit bland and predictable.

3 stars out of 5.
