Reds Sign UAE Mobile Deal

Manchester United has signed a two-year partnership with Du, the leading mobile telecoms company in the United Arab Emirates.

The deal will give the club’s fans in the country a chance to see all the goals scored, as well as exclusive interviews, news and behind-the-scenes access – bringing them closer to Old Trafford than ever before.

Announcing the deal, Richard Arnold, Commercial Director at Manchester United, said, “The partnership with Du extends our coverage to our 56million fans in the Middle East even further and we’re delighted to have found a partner that can give our supporters in the country a premier service of updates, exclusives and action.

Sir Alex Ferguson said, “In recent years, the club has grown very close links with the Middle East and we know from our visits there that the fans are as loyal and as passionate about the team as anyone. To be able to address them directly is incredible and the network of deals that we are building up means that more and more fans can feel involved with what happens at United.”

Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer at Du said, “We are proud and excited by this partnership deal with the legendary Manchester United Football Club, which allows us to bring a wealth of United-related content to the dedicated fans amongst our five million customers.

“Manchester United is an icon and our sponsorship of the club will open up a world of exclusive privileges to our customers, allowing them to experience more than has ever been possible."
