Nani: United's Future Is Bright

Nani is convinced that Manchester United's future is bright as the club continues to develop exciting young talent.

The 26-year-old has watched the likes of Adnan Januzaj, Wilfried Zaha, Jesse Lingard and Michael Keane shine during pre-season on television. By regaining full fitness back home in Manchester, he has also had a first-hand look at other promising talents who joined him in the team at Crewe Alexandra on Monday.

When asked by MUTV for his views on the tour, the winger was clearly impressed by what he witnessed on the official club channel.

"I saw some good football from the team and a good attitude," he replied. "There were a lot of goals from different players and the young lads did brilliantly on tour.

"That is nice for Manchester United - to have all these choices from the younger lads, who had the opportunity, and others have the chance to see if they can stay or go on loan for the future."

Nani was also asked about being a senior figure among a number of youngsters in the victory at Crewe's Alexandra Stadium. "For me, it's fantastic," he enthused. "I have been on that [other] side and know how the feeling is. I try to help all the time, as much as I can.

"They are good lads and they helped us as well at Crewe. I feel that they played good football and think they are improving a lot as well over the years. I can see that the Academy has a lot of very good young players coming up and with strong personalities too so they can be ready to play in the Premier League."
