Fellaini To Wait For Surgery

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini will delay having surgery on his injured wrist until December, according to reports.

The Belgian international, who was signed from Everton on transfer deadline day, has suffered strained ligaments in his wrist joint.

And it was thought he may require an operation immediately, ruling him out until December.

However, Sky sources report that he could continue to play with a splint on his injured wrist and now looks set to line up for Belgium in a World Cup qualifier on Friday.

And he will also continue to play for the defending Premier League champions until he has the wrist problem addressed in December.

Fellaini picked up the injury during last Wednesday's 1-1 Champions League draw at Shakhtar Donetsk and subsequently sat out Saturday's 2-1 victory over Sunderland.
