Giggs Enjoying Combined Role
Ryan Giggs admits he is enjoying his new player-coach role at Manchester United despite the club's difficult start to the season.
Giggs, 39, joined David Moyes' backroom staff following the Scot's arrival in the summer having spent his entire career at United.
United have won only three of their seven Premier League games this term, slumping to three defeats including a 4-1 derby loss at Manchester City and a 2-1 home reverse against West Brom.
He has been linked with the Wales national team job currently held by Chris Coleman, but he told the Manchester Evening News: "I am enjoying my coaching role at Manchester United - it has been great.
"It hasn't yet got to the point when I go into the dressing room and everything falls quiet.
"But education is the next step in my career and I'm enjoying it. I am enjoying working with the new manager.
"Personally, I would prefer better results but we are only seven or eight games into the season."
