Duo Up For UEFA Accolade

Manchester United duo Robin van Persie and David De Gea have been nominated for a place in the UEFA.com users’ 2013 Team of the Year.

Van Persie and De Gea, who were both instrumental in United’s 20th title triumph last season, were selected by members of the UEFA.com staff based on their performances over the last twelve months.

The two Reds were shortlisted for the equivalent XI in 2012, only to miss out in the final reckoning. To help them go one better this season, and ensure United are represented amongst Europe’s finest footballers, please make your mark and vote for your Team of the Year for 2013.

Voting is now open at http://en.toty.uefa.com/ and will continue until 9 January 2014 at 13:00 CET (12:00 GMT). The final team will then be revealed on 15 January on UEFA.com and in Champions magazine.
