United Must Look Forward
Former Manchester United left-back Arthur Albiston admitted Saturday's defeat to Newcastle was "hard to take," but he urged the team to bounce back by beating Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.
The Magpies condemned United to a second 1-0 Barclays Premier League reversal at home in four days, following Everton's win at Old Trafford in midweek.
But Moyes' men have the opportunity to respond quickly with a positive result against Shahktar, which would seal top spot in Champions League Group A.
“It’s another home defeat, which is hard to take, but we have to dig in now,” Albiston told MUTV after Saturday's game.
“We have another home game on Tuesday in the Champions League and that’s what you want. You don’t want a week’s training; you want to put things right.
“You’ve got to be big enough to put the shirt on, get out and play. Hopefully we'll do that.”
