Jones Hurt Against Hull
Phil Jones suffered an injury blow in the first half of Manchester United's final Barclays Premier League home game with Hull City.
The defender, who started at centre-back alongside Chris Smalling, hurt his shoulder when colliding with Maynor Figueroa as he attempted to reach an Adnan Januzaj corner.
With the World Cup finals on the horizon, England coach Roy Hodgson will be anxiously awaiting an update on the problem, which led to Jones heading straight for the tunnel.
"He's gone to hospital and we will just have to assess it," explained Giggs. "But it does not look great.
"I'm just saying that the reaction, he asked to come off straight away, whether it's precaution or not, from a player's point of view, you know if it's bad. Hopefully it's not too bad."
The injury presented substitute Nemanja Vidic with a chance to step into the breach, to a rousing ovation, as he said his farewells to Old Trafford ahead of a summer move to Inter Milan.
