De Gea And Wilson Up For Awards

David De Gea and James Wilson have been nominated for recognition at the MBNA Northwest Football Awards dinner.

Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and United have a player each in the Player of the Year and Rising Star categories with Spanish stopper De Gea and goal-machine James Wilson the pair forwarded from the Reds.

Fans can vote here (www.northwestfootballawards.com) ahead of the ceremony on 18 November at The Point in Emirates Old Trafford.

Premier League Player of the Year nominees: Seamus Coleman (Everton), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Yaya Toure (Manchester City), David De Gea (United).

Rising Star nominees: Ross Barkley (Everton), Jordan Rossiter (Liverpool), Marcos Lopes (Manchester City), James Wilson (United).

Liverpool completed a clean sweep in 2013 with Jamie Carragher and Jerome Sinclair scooping the prizes.
