Manchester United 'Not Interested' In Nicolas Otamendi

Manchester United will not be signing Valencia centre-back Nicolas Otamendi, Sky Sports News HQ understands.

A Spanish TV station reported on Thursday that it has seen legal documents confirming that the transfer is about to take place.

But we understand United are not interested – and never have been interested – in signing the Argentina international.

Meanwhile, United also have no intention of allowing Javier Hernandez to leave the club. West Ham United are interested in the Mexico forward, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid.

However, the departures of Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie mean United’s striking options are thin and therefore Hernandez will not be allowed to depart.
