Hernandez Completes Move To Leverkusen
Javier Hernandez has completed a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen from Manchester United.
The Bundesliga club have signed the Mexican striker on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Hernandez spent last season on loan to Real Madrid and scored nine goals in 33 appearances, albeit with just 12 of them coming as a starter.
He scored 59 goals in 157 games for United and won two Premier League titles, after joining in 2010.
A tweet from Manchester United's official twitter page said: "Javier Hernandez has completed a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen. We wish him all the best for the future."
Bayer Leverkusen's sporting director Rudi Voller told his club's official website: "With 'Chicharito', we have more possible variations and we'll be more unpredictable.
"He's a lively, agile and fast striker who is strong, has a good technique and a very good record. I am delighted that he has chosen to join Bayer Leverkusen.
"The Bundesliga can look forward to seeing a great player."
