Merson Tips Jose Mourinho For Manchester United

Paul Merson says Louis van Gaal will be looking over his shoulder following Chelsea's sacking of Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has left the club following his second stint, leaving Chelsea 16th in the Premier League having won the title last season, his third at the club.

Merson said: "LVG will be looking behind him. If it doesn't go well for United in the next week or two, I think they might look and think one of the best managers in the world is available, let's get him."
