Date Confirmed For FA Cup Tie Against Derby County

Manchester United's Emirates FA Cup fourth-round tie away to Championship side Derby County will take place on Friday 29 January, live on BBC One in the UK.

The draw took place on Monday and now the dates and kick-off times have been confirmed for all of the 16 ties, with the Reds' game getting under way at 19:55 GMT. The rest of the ties will be played between Saturday 30 January and Monday 1 February.

United and Derby have previously contested nine matches in the world famous knock-out competition, resulting in six wins to the Reds, one draw and two victories for the Rams. The last of these meetings was in the fifth round seven years ago, when United triumphed 4-1 at Pride Park on 15 February 2009 with goals from Darron Gibson, Nani, Danny Welbeck and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Derby opened their FA Cup campaign on Saturday with a hard-fought victory away to League Two club Hartlepool United. Jacob Butterfield and Darren Bent, with his 200th goal in senior football, scored as Paul Clement's much-changed side came from behind to win 2-1. In their next fixture, in the Championship on Tuesday, the Rams were held 1-1 at home by Reading and now trail leaders Middlesbrough by six points in second place.
