United Discover FA Cup 4th Round Opponents

Manchester United have been drawn away to Championship side Derby County in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round.

The clubs have previously contested nine matches in the world famous knock-out competition, resulting in six wins to the Reds, one draw and two victories for the Rams. The last of these meetings was in the fifth round seven years ago, when United triumphed 4-1 at Pride Park on 15 February 2009 with goals from Darron Gibson, Nani, Danny Welbeck and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Derby opened their FA Cup campaign on Saturday with a hard-fought victory away to League Two club Hartlepool United. Jacob Butterfield and Darren Bent, with his 200th goal in senior football, scored as Paul Clement's much-changed side came from behind to win 2-1. In their previous fixture, in the Championship, the Rams lost 2-0 away to leaders Middlesbrough and now trail them by four points in second place.

The FA Cup fourth-round ties will be played between Friday 29 January and Monday 1 February.
