Redknapp: City To Win Derby

Manchester City have the better individual players to beat Manchester United and open up a seven-point gap over them on Sunday, says Jamie Redknapp.

City lead United by four points in the race for the top four ahead of the Super Sunday clash at the Etihad, but both sides are in indifferent form of late.

Redknapp, who also believes Louis van Gaal will not be in charge at Old Trafford next season, is tipping City for the three points on Sunday, which would stretch United's winless run at the Etihad to three seasons.

"Neither side are in great form, but the bragging rights will be so important," Redknapp said. "United obviously lost to Liverpool in the Europa League, and although their second leg show was better, but the first was not good enough.

"I can't see Louis van Gaal keeping his job next year, but he'll want to go out with a bang.

"They're against a City side who are hard to predict at home. They've obviously got Sergio Aguero, and although Vincent Kompany being out is a huge advantage to Manchester United, I just think Manchester City still have the better individuals, particularly with Aguero.

"I'm going for a City win with plenty of goals and plenty of action."
