Martial Needs Your Votes
Manchester United fans are being urged to vote Anthony Martial onto the cover of EA SPORTS FIFA 17, the new edition of the globally popular football game. Vote now at easports.com/martial.
The young striker is currently away with France's Euro 2016 squad in his homeland after a sensational debut campaign for United, in which he scored the club's Goal of the Season on his debut against Liverpool, netted a semi-final winner at Wembley and helped his team to lift a record-equalling 12th FA Cup.
Now he's bidding to beat rivals Eden Hazard (Chelsea), James Rodriguez (Real Madrid) and Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund) to the coveted cover spot on FIFA 17, which will be available worldwide from 29 September 2016. All four contenders are also global ambassadors for FIFA 17 and worked with EA SPORTS to influence gameplay and bring innovation to the way players in the game think and move, physically interact with opponents, take set pieces, and use new techniques in attack.
“Martial, Hazard, James and Reus represent exciting, energetic football and are the epitome of the innovative play that fans can expect in FIFA 17,” said Nick Channon, Senior Producer for EA SPORTS FIFA. “We’re excited to see fans rally around their favourite players and see who they select as the cover star to represent FIFA 17.”
Fans can cast their votes now on the official FIFA 17 Cover Vote website and can keep voting for their favourite player once per day until the poll closes on 19 July. Extra votes can be gained by using the auto-share feature on the site with the hashtag #FIFA17CoverReward. Fans can also show their support by tweeting with the Anthony's hashtag #FIFA17Martial. The winning player will be revealed on the official FIFA Cover Vote website later this month.
