Mkhitaryan Doubtful For Manchester Derby

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a doubt for the Manchester derby after he injured his knee while on international duty.

Mkhitaryan hurt his knee in an off-the-ball collision with Marek Suchy during the first half of Armenia's friendly with the Czech Republic and was taken off as a result.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will be hoping the 27-year-old, who joined from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year contract in July, was substituted as a precaution ahead of Armenia's World Cup qualifier with Denmark at the weekend.

Mkhitaryan has been described as a "fantastic talent" by Mourinho and the former Chelsea boss now faces an anxious update on his £26.3m signing ahead of the derby clash with Pep Guardiola's City at Old Trafford on September 10.
