Rashford Keen To "Embrace" Turkey Trip
Marcus Rashford is looking forward to his first match in Turkey - against Fenerbahce in the Europa League - and the young Manchester United striker insists the Reds must "embrace" the experience.
United have famously been greeted with 'Welcome to Hell' banners at airports and stadiums on previous visits to the country as local fans did their best to intimidate the opposition in any way possible.
But Rashford, who celebrated his 19th birthday on Monday, says he's relishing the Reds' arrival in Istanbul ahead of Thursday's rematch with Robin van Persie and company.
"I really look forward to games like this because they're an experience – it's completely different to what you get over here," said the teenager, whose only previous competitive match overseas with United's first team was September's 1-0 defeat to Feyenoord in the Netherlands.
"From what I’ve heard, it's a difficult place to play. As players we need to embrace that, but also be professional and make sure we're fully concentrated on the game in order to get the three points.
"It’s important to savour the atmosphere as who knows when you will get that experience again."
