MARTIN SAYS: It's certainly an incident-packed fixture when Manchester United take on Arsenal, with the two rivals once again meeting on Saturday lunchtime in a game you can see live on Sky Sports 1.

However, in terms of games which have produced the most red cards in Premier League history, it is way down the list with 23 matches having seen more.

There have been only eight dismissals in 48 Premier League clashes between the two sides, compared to the 21 in the 48 encounters played between Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton, which is the most in Premier League history.

MARTIN SAYS:  Arsene Wenger has never tasted victory in the Premier League with Jose Mourinho in the opposition dugout.

The pair have met on 11 occasions with Mourinho manager of Chelsea for all of those games, and the Portuguese boss had five wins and six draws.

In fact, Wenger's only victory against Mourinho was in the Community Shield in August 2015.

Unsurprisingly, Sir Alex Ferguson (15) has the most Premier League wins against Wenger.

Mourinho, meanwhile, is not even second on the list, with Mark Hughes picking up six wins against the Frenchman. Mourinho could equal that tally on Saturday.

Rafael Benitez, Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp, David Moyes and Gerard Houllier have all enjoyed four wins over Wenger.

MARTIN SAYS: Marriner has refereed eight games so far this season, handing out 29 cautions and a single red card, which works out as 3.9 yellow cards per game. The one red card was Ahmed Elmohamady for Hull against Liverpool. He also showed nine yellow cards and three reds in a Europa League game between Panathinaikos and Ajax.

Marriner has also awarded 163 fouls - 5.3 per match - and four penalties so far this season.

In the Premier League this season, Bobby Madley has shown the most yellow cards, with 42 in eight matches, but he is yet to pull out a red card.

John Moss, who has shown two red cards so far this season along with Mike Dean and Roger East, has the highest cards-per-game ratio with 5.4.

Anthony Taylor has awarded 263 fouls during the 10 games he has refereed at an average of 7.5 fouls per game.

Mike Dean has pointed to the spot the most so far this season, giving seven penalties ahead of Michael Oliver (6), Madley (4) and Marriner (4).

MARTIN SAYS: Since the Premier League began in 1992/93, Arsenal have won only three times in 24 matches; an average of just 0.63 points per game, the joint-fewest at any stadium along with Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough (with a minimum of five games played).

However, two of those victories were memorable ones, with a 1-0 triumph in March 1998 proving to be the catalyst for Arsene Wenger's first-ever Premier League title, while their win by the same scoreline in May 2002 handed the Frenchman his second championship win. The other was also a 1-0 win in 2006, which was their last Premier League win there.

MARTIN SAYS: Both have excellent points-per-game records in that time. Wenger has managed over double the amount of Premier League games since 2004 and has taken 1.94 points-per-game to Jose's 2.16.

Mourinho's first season in England in 2004/05 saw him take the title off Wenger's Arsenal, and since then, the Frenchman has failed to taste Premier League success.

Mourinho has won three Premier League titles since, with a win rate of 65 per cent, while Wenger's stands at 56.7 per cent.

Wenger has seen his side score more goals, at 1.90 per game to Mourinho's 1.76, but the latter has conceded far less; 0.73 per game to Wenger's 0.99.
