Zlatan Backed To Rediscover Scoring Form

Ander Herrera has backed Manchester United team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic to rediscover his scoring form and show he is one of the best strikers on the planet.

The Swedish centre-forward hit the bar and had numerous efforts in the Reds' 0-0 draw against Burnley but found the visitors' goalkeeper Tom Heaton in exceptional form at Old Trafford. The 36-year-old's class is unquestioned and Herrera is in no doubt that the summer acquisition will add to his impressive approach play with goals, as was the case during the first couple of months of the season. 

"If one player can overcome this moment it is him because his attitude, character and the way he works is fantastic," said Herrera. "I’ve got no doubt he’s going to score a lot of goals for us but it’s not only him – we’ve missed a lot of chances. 

"He did a lot of good things for the team. A lot of the chances we created were because of him. We have one of the best strikers in the world."
