Latest On Rojo & Zlatan
Jose Mourinho has provided an update on the availability of Manchester United duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo for Sunday's mouth-watering clash against Liverpool.
Ibrahimovic was set to face Hull City in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final on Tuesday evening, but Mourinho revealed to ManUtd.com before the match that illness had forced the Swede to miss the game.
When asked whether the striker would be well enough to face Jurgen Klopp's men, the boss told reporters at his post-match press conference: "Zlatan is ill so I think no problem, I think he will be fine."
There appears to be more of a doubt over Rojo who limped out of Saturday's FA Cup win over Reading with a muscular problem. The Argentinian missed the victory over Hull and on the prospect of him being fit for Sunday's huge Premier League clash, Mourinho said: "I don't know [if Rojo will be fit]. Marcos has a muscular problem, not big. I'm not saying he's not ready to play, I'm saying that I have my doubts."
