Shaw Happy At United

Luke Shaw's agent has rubbished suggestions that the defender could leave Manchester United.

The 21-year-old left-back has played just 13 times since the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford last summer and has not featured for United since November 30.

Reports in the national press have claimed United are looking to offload Shaw in the summer, but his representative, Jonathan Barnett, insists there is no truth in talk of a move away for the England international.

"He is happy at the club. Manchester United are very happy with him and he's very happy at Manchester United," Barnett told Sky Sports News HQ.

Shaw joined United from Southampton for £27m in June 2014 under the management of Louis van Gaal, but was criticised by the Dutchman during a pre-season tour of the United States over the state of his physical condition.

He was put on a personal fitness program by the then-United boss and eventually made his debut for the club in the 2-1 victory over West Ham on September 27 of that year.

Shaw suffered a double leg break against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last season, which ruled him out for the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign.

He returned to action in August and played in Mourinho's first five Premier League matches in charge at United, but has fallen down the pecking order with Matteo Darmian the preferred choice at left-back.
