Ajax Boss Heaps Pressure On United
Ajax boss Peter Bosz has warned his team will not feel any pressure up against the size and experience of Manchester United in the Europa League final.
The two clubs, who both boast a rich European history, clash in Stockholm next Wednesday with a major trophy and a place in next season's Champions League the reward.
Jose Mourinho's side must win to reach the competition, whereas Ajax are certainly in the qualifying round after finishing as runners-up in the Eredivisie, and Bosz says he is relishing the pressure being on Mourinho's men.
"[United] have a bigger budget than us, so if they feel more pressure because of it then great," he said.
"It's true both are big clubs with big history. United have more experience and more money than us but we have fantastic players.
"I feel no pressure at all - just a huge opportunity. I don't know if my players will feel pressure because it's their first big final, but I know we all want to win the game.
"We try, in any case, to play our own game."
Mourinho has had a string of injured players to nurture in recent weeks in the hope of keeping them fresh for the final, with Marouane Fellaini, Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw all uncertain for next Wednesday's clash.
But Bosz said: "We are fit and fresh. Nobody was injured. Today we trained with 24 players. Also there was (defender) Daley Sinkgraven again, after his injury."
