Manchester United Set New Unbeaten Record

Manchester United have set a new club Premier League record of 25 matches unbeaten within a single top-flight season, despite drawing 1-1 Swansea with at Old Trafford.

United's 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Thursday extended their current streak without defeat in the Premier League to 24 games, matching their best-ever single-season spell from 2010/11 and the tough encounter with the Swans ensured a new benchmark was set.

United's 25-game run is the eighth-best undefeated top-flight streak within a single season in history and stretches back to the 4-0 loss to Chelsea on October 23. Since then, the Reds have won 13 and drawn 11 and not conceded more than one goal in any league match.

Arsenal's ‘Invincibles’ of 2003/04, who completed an entire 38-game Premier League campaign without suffering a loss, hold the record for the longest unbeaten run.
