Who Will Take Free-kicks Next Season?

Manchester United's latest signing Victor Lindelof arrives at Old Trafford with a reputation for taking a mean free-kick.

The Swede slammed a set-piece past Portugal's no.1 keeper Rui Patricio to earn a point for Benfica against Sporting Lisbon in a big derby game in April to illustrate his shooting prowess.

It prompted MUTV to ask the centre-back whether he will throw his hat into the ring for free-kick duties at his new club. Watch the video above to see his response.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had the chief responsibility last season, before picking up a knee injury, and scored with a set-piece as part of his hat-trick against Saint-Etienne in the Europa League. Of course, the striker also converted one in the EFL Cup final win over Southampton.

Wayne Rooney crashed in his record-breaking strike at Stoke City from a difficult angle and Marcus Rashford swept home a superb effort in the Europa League semi-final first leg at Celta Vigo.

Paul Pogba also tried this luck with a number of free-kicks over the course of the campaign and hit the woodwork against Hull City and Tottenham. Juan Mata is another afforded the chance to take them, and he has one of the best conversion rates since coming to England with Chelsea and now United, while Marcos Rojo had a reputation for chancing his arm from distance before signing for the Reds.

We wait to see who will be handed the responsibility by Jose Mourinho in 2017/18 - obviously the boss could still make further additions this summer to bring into the mix.
