Was Pogba Fortunate To Escape Second Yellow Card Against Swansea?
Paul Pogba was already on a yellow card when he dived in on Swansea defender Martin Olsson – was the challenge worthy of a second booking?
Manchester United won 4-0 for the second consecutive Premier League game as Eric Bailly, Romelu Lukaku, Pogba and Anthony Martial scored the goals at the Liberty Stadium.
But with the score at 1-0 in the first half and Pogba on a booking for a late tackle on Tom Carroll, the France international escaped further sanction for a mistimed lunge on Olsson.
When asked about the challenge in the Sky Sports studio at half-time, Thierry Henry said: "I think it's a foul, yes, but not any more than that.
"You can see he's trying to get the ball, he's a bit late, but I don't think it is a second yellow."
And after the game, Pogba added: "The first one is a yellow card. The second one, no. I was not worried.
"The referee came to talk to me and I laughed with him, I said 'Are you serious?'"
