United Fret Over Jones Injury

Phil Jones limped off with an injury during Manchester United's 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield to cause more selection problems for Jose Mourinho.

The United manager admitted that he "was not expecting" his side's performance in their defeat at the John Smith's Stadium, and that Huddersfield deserved to beat his side because they "wanted it more".

As well as dealing with United's shock defeat, he will be fretting over the fitness of Jones with key United games coming up.

The England defender has been a regular in the United defence this season, but had to be replaced after less than half an hour after sustaining an injury.

Jones is reported to have told journalists in the tunnel at the stadium that he had injured his quadriceps.

To add to Mourinho's concerns, Jones' replacement Victor Lindelof - making only his second Premier League appearance - was culpable for Huddersfield's second goal.

On the plus side, Mourinho said that he is expecting Eric Bailly back next week.
