Mourinho Falls Over And Kicks Bottle As United Win

Jose Mourinho was involved in two amusing incidents as Manchester United secured a dramatic win over Crystal Palace on Monday Night Football.

Mourinho, who saw his side come from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Selhurst Park, firstly kicked an empty water bottle in frustration and inadvertently sent it flying into the crowd.

The United boss saw the humour in the incident and quickly pleaded forgiveness from supporters.

He told Sky Sports afterwards: "It was empty. One thing is with the referee and another thing is basic frustration of the game without any sort of aggression and good fun with people behind.

"Maybe they like me here because I keep saying this stadium and these fans are absolutely beautiful."

Mourinho later fell over in the dugout as his side were chasing a winner, with the United boss again seeing the funny side as he smiled and appeared to joke with a member of the Palace staff.
