"In our case, we come from a big result and during the week I was trying to fight that result by working well and hard and trying to make the players understand that it's not enough to deserve to finish second, we need the points to finish second and obviously to finish top four we need four or five points. But to finish second we need much more than that and after three important points last weekend we have to try to do this three and be closer to the end of the season and to the second position which is, in this moment, is our ambition."

COMPETITION FOR PLACES IN THE SQUAD

It would be amazing, also economically for the football clubs to have only 11 players and to always play with the same 11 and no injuries and no suspensions and no fatigue and nothing, it'd be better for everyone to have only 11 players. But it's not possible, so in every club at every level from the top of the world until the amateurs' football clubs, you need more than 11 players and only 11 can start, it's simple as it, there is nothing I can do."

REACTING TO QUESTIONS ABOUT IF THERE HAS BEEN COMPLACENCY IN TRAINING
"I didn't. I didn't, because I was not complacent, because I was working really hard, because I tried to build motivational training sessions with new exercises, with things that could motivate them, with little tactical things that I know for the players is motivation. I try to raise the levels of training and I think I managed to do it because I'm really pleased with all these [last few] days."

"I don't need [it]. If I have more competition for him, then I have more competition for the other ones that you are saying that are not happy because they are not playing. So probably I'll have to reduce and send some away and have a squad of 12 or 13 players."
