Alexis set to fly out to United States

There is good news on the Alexis Sanchez front as the Chilean star has been given the green light to fly to the United States to join Tour 2018 presented by Aon.

The South American forward should be available soon to link up with his colleagues, following the first match of the trip against Club America in Arizona. With Jose Mourinho keen to prepare his troops for the new campaign but already missing a number of internationals who were on World Cup duty, the arrival of Alexis is a timely boost.

The stellar signing in January has been maintaining his fitness at the Aon Training Complex for the last few days but finished his final session there on Thursday.

He is now due to fly across the Atlantic Ocean to Los Angeles in order to be reunited with the squad.

United take on San Jose Earthquakes, AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid after facing Club America in the opener.

The manager has already suggested Alexis is in line to start the Premier League campaign in a three-pronged attack alongside Anthony Martial and Juan Mata.
