Pogba and Mourinho's training-ground row caused by Instagram post
Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has confirmed Jose Mourinho's training-ground spat with Paul Pogba was caused by the Frenchman's use of social media.
Last month, Sky Sports News captured footage of Mourinho and Pogba arguing during a training session at Carrington - a day after the France international was stripped of the Manchester United vice-captaincy.
Mourinho appeared unhappy with the behaviour of Pogba, who had posted videos to Instagram the previous evening while watching from the stands during United's third-round defeat to Derby County in the Carabao Cup.
Pereira, who was filmed in one of the videos alongside team-mate Luke Shaw, confirmed the disagreement was over the Instagram story, but insists Pogba only posted them to social media while United were winning the match.
"It was in a cup game. Pogba posted the video before and there was me and left-back Luke Shaw laughing," Pereira told UOL.
"We were winning the game 1-0 at the time of the video. Then we lost the game, and people said that Pogba posted later. But he posted before.
"The manager thought that Pogba had posted later. He asked him why that happened. There was a mood about it."
Barcelona had a bid rejected for the World Cup winner in July, according to Sky in Italy. Pogba played the full 90 minutes as France beat Germany 2-1 in the Nations League on Tuesday.
He will return to club duties when Manchester United travel to face Chelsea on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
