Mata: We're motivated for two tough matches

Hi everyone. Back-to-back 2-1 wins have given us the confidence we need to face up to one of the most difficult weeks of the season.

To visit both Juventus and Manchester City in the space of four days is a big challenge that the fixture list has put in front of us, and we are heading towards it with the utmost motivation.

As I said, to start off by beating Bournemouth - a team who have only lost two games in 10 match days - was really positive. We were able to carry on well after the win against Everton. We had to come from behind, not for the first time, and it wasn’t easy, but to take the three points in stoppage time is a special feeling.

Perhaps the best thing from the win was to know that the away fans would travel all the way home happy. You all made the long trip and helped us to enjoy a great weekend. Thank you for your support at every game away from Old Trafford.

In Spain, La Liga is showing itself to be more competitive than ever.

Barçelona struggled to beat Rayo Vallecano; Real Madrid did the same against a Valladolid side who are having a great season, and Atlético Madrid couldn’t win against Leganés. I think it’s a great thing for La Liga, making it even more attractive to watch.

I hope you all have a great week.

Hugs, Juan.
