CONFIRMED: UNITED XI TO FACE WEST HAM
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made four changes to his Manchester United XI to face West Ham in the crucial Premier League battle at Old Trafford this evening, from the side that lost to Chelsea last Sunday in the FA Cup semi-final.
Coming back into the line up post-Wembley are Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
Eric Bailly, who was injured in the semi final, is out, while Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Fred are named on the bench.
The Reds will be determined to get back to winning ways with a vital three points on offer against David Moyes' men, who are all but safe from relegation.
Speaking to MUTV about his team, Ole said: “Aaron had a little knock but fortunately Timo is fit and ready to play. He played at Palace and now he’s got more minutes under his belt. Nemanja has done fantastically lately so we felt this was a game for him.
”If we get a result tonight that we can take home and get something from the game we know that changes the Leicester perspective and the Leicester game. No matter what happens tonight, Sunday is also going to be a deciding game. We just focus on this one now and try to get a result.“
The Reds and the Hammers line up as follows for the 18:00 BST kick-off:
United: De Gea; Fosu-Mensah, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams; Matic, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.
Subs: Romero, Dalot, Wan-Bissaka, Fred, James, Lingard, Mata, McTominay, Ighalo.
West Ham: Fabianski; Cresswell, Diop, Ogbonna, Johnson; Fornals, Noble, Soucek, Rice, Bowen; Antonio.
Subs: Randolph, Balbuena, Yarmolenko, Anderson, Lanzini, Wilshere, Haller, Masuaku, Coventry.
