Reds Welcome Thomas Cook

Manchester United and Thomas Cook have announced the formal launch of a commerical partnership that will last for at least the next four years.

The deal makes Thomas Cook the only official provider for overseas fans wishing to watch the Reds at Old Trafford. Thomas Cook packages include a match ticket, four or five-star hotel accommodation and a tour of the stadium and club museum.

Thomas Cook Sport will also provide overseas travel to UK fans, including official travel packages to all of the Reds' away matches in the UEFA Champions League.

United chief executive David Gill said: "This is a very exciting deal for our millions of supporters around the world. Fans will have the chance to receive a complete travel service from a brand with a heritage and expertise that is second to none. We’re looking forward to a great partnership and we know that just like the team, our fans, wherever they are, will receive a first-class service in the coming years."

Thomas Cook CEO for UK & Ireland Ian Derbyshire said: "We lead the way in sport tourism so it’s a great development for us to be able to offer our international customers the chance to experience the thrill of coming to Old Trafford to witness a Premier League match. This is fantastic news for Thomas Cook and on the eve of the new season we’re eager to develop this part of our business further."
