Vidic Relishes Crowning Moment

United captain Nemanja Vidic will have the privilege of lifting the Barclays Premier League crown on Sunday, but he insists it's a trophy all the team share.

The Reds sealed a 20th league title last month and will be presented with the league crown after Sunday's match against Swansea.

The day will be a hugely emotional one for everyone connected to the Reds as it will also be Sir Alex Ferguson's final ever home match as manager.

Vidic says he is proud to have the honour of lifting the silverware, but maintains that everyone has played their part in this season's success.

"I had the opportunity to lift the trophy after we won the 19th title [in 2011] and it is a great feeling," he told PA Sport and BBC Radio.

"As a captain it is special. It is hard to explain. It is nice when you play for a club like Manchester United and you win a trophy. But it is the same feeling, whether you are captain or not. You are part of the team.

"No-one has given any more or any less. We are a team and we all played a part. I am the captain and I will lift the trophy, but that doesn't make me any different to Robin [van Persie], Michael [Carrick] or any other player. It is the same feeling."
