Bebe Expresses Interest In Sporting Lisbon Move
Manchester United striker Bebe has expressed an interest in completing a summer switch to Sporting Lisbon.
The 22-year-old was a shock arrival at Old Trafford in August 2010, with United splashing out over £7million on the untested Portuguese frontman.
He has struggled for game time in England and has spent much of the last two seasons out on loan at Besiktas and Rio Ave.
Bebe is now looking for a permanent move back to his homeland and has welcomed reports suggesting Sporting are keen on acquiring his services.
"I would love to play for Sporting," he told Correio da Manha.
"The club would suit me and it is an ambition of mine to play for Sporting.
"They put faith in young players, appreciate them, and play an attractive game that suits my style. It is a club that can grow. I haven't found that in England."
Bebe believes that 'many' coaching changes have held Sporting back of late, as they 'change direction', but believes the club has 'everything to enjoy a much better future'.
