FA Cup 3rd Round Draw: United To Meet Swans

United have been drawn at home to Swansea City in the third round of the FA Cup.

It will be the first ever meeting between the two sides in the competition, with the tie due to take place over the weekend of 4 and 5 January 2014.

The clubs have met 21 times before, all in the league, with United winning ten and Swansea six.

The Reds, who have been drawn against a fellow top-flight side in the third round in 16 of the last 25 seasons, have already tasted victory over the Swans this term, thanks to a 4-1 win on the opening day at the Liberty Stadium.

The Welsh side now face two visits to Old Trafford in as many weekends with the pair due to play each other in the league on Saturday 11 January.
