Rio Out For 2 Weeks
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is expected to be out for about two weeks with a knee injury.
The former England centre-back, 35, limped out of Sunday's FA Cup defeat by Swansea and had a scan on Monday.
He has suffered bruising but has not sustained any damage to his ligaments, as was first feared.
Ferdinand is likely to miss three games but should be in contention for the League Cup semi-final second leg with Sunderland on 22 January.
United face Chelsea in the Premier League three days before that but Ferdinand is unlikely to be fit in time.
