Gunners Win Inspires Moyes

David Moyes is looking to one of Manchester United’s best results of the season to help bounce back from the disappointment of the draw with Fulham.

The Reds have the chance to do ‘the double’ over Arsenal on Wednesday at Emirates Stadium, having taken the spoils with a hard-fought win over Arsene Wenger’s side at Old Trafford in November. Robin van Persie’s header against his previous club was enough for the Reds to claim all three points, and Moyes hopes the outcome of that meeting helps inspire his side in north London this time out.

“We'll always try to get a good result against them. We got a good result against them at Old Trafford earlier on in the season and we'll try to do the same again," he said.

“I think we've played better in several games, but in that one we got the one goal and that sometimes makes the difference. We are a top side and hopefully we’ll go and show that. We'll play well and do everything we can to pick up all three points.”

The headed goal by Darren Bent deep into stoppage time that denied United three points on Sunday is still fresh in the memory, but the boss is adamant that the Reds’ efforts deserve a better turn of luck.

“You just continue doing the right things, we're doing the right things. We just need to keep going because our luck will change, there's no doubt about that.”
