Kuzmanovic Would Welcome Vidic At Inter Milan

Inter Milan midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic says he would be "very happy" if defender Nemanja Vidic joined the club in the summer.

Vidic, who has confirmed he will quit Old Trafford at the end of the season, is a transfer target for many top European clubs.

The Serie A giants are reportedly eyeing up a move for the experienced 32-year-old.

And Serbia international Kuzmanovic is keen for Vidic to join him at the San Siro.

"If he comes to Inter I will be very happy, he is a great player, a great centre-back but everyone knows it," he told the club's official website.

Former Fiorentina star Kuzmanovic also revealed he received a number of proposals from Premier League clubs last season, but insists he is happy plying his trade in Italy after moving from VfB Stuttgart last January.

"One year ago I had received several proposals from the Premier League but when it arrived I had no doubt I wanted to join Inter," said the 26-year-old central defender.

"Playing at the San Siro with this shirt is a dream. England was an interesting option but I wanted to return to Serie A."
