Hernandez To Join United Tour Party

Manchester United have confirmed Javier Hernandez will join the squad in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (22 July) ahead of the first game on Tour 2014, presented by Aon.

The frontman was not among the party that jetted out from Manchester on Friday but will link up with the Reds on the eve of the friendly against LA Galaxy (kick-off 20:06 local time on Wednesday, 04:06 BST on Thursday).

Chicharito appeared off the bench in all four of Mexico’s games at Brazil 2014, including the last-16 tie against the Netherlands, in which El Tri were shattered by two late goals after leading 1-0.

He joins fellow strikers Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Will Keane in Louis van Gaal's squad in the USA.
