Manchester United's Longest-serving Current Stars

Rafael's departure from Manchester United has affected the club's list of longest-serving current players, with the Brazilian occupying fourth place prior to his move to Lyon.

United skipper Wayne Rooney has been with the Reds longer than any of his team-mates, having joined from Everton 11 years ago this summer. Northern Irish centre-back Jonny Evans is next, narrowly ahead of vice-captain Michael Carrick, as they both signed in July 2006.

Antonio Valencia, who arrived three years later, now occupies fourth spot with three members of the 2011 FA Youth Cup-winning team - Sam Johnstone, Will Keane (who is on loan at Preston North End) and Jesse Lingard - sharing the place below the Ecuador international.

1st - Wayne Rooney (31.08.2004)
2nd - Jonny Evans (01.07.2006)
3rd - Michael Carrick (31.07.2006)
4th - Antonio Valencia (30.06.2009)
5th - Sam Johnstone (01.07.2009)
5th - Will Keane (01.07.2009)
5th - Jesse Lingard (01.07.2009)
