Fellaini's Lack Of Man. United Playing Time Concerns Marc Wilmots

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has suggested Marouane Fellaini may have to leave Manchester United to guarantee his place at Euro 2016.

Fellaini established himself under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford last season, but has started just one league game this season.

The former Everton man was not selected for Belgium's recent friendly win over Italy and the cancelled match against Spain due to injury.

"A player who does not play for his club is frustrating for a coach," Wilmots told Le Soir newspaper.

"Fellaini could play to support the attack, as the No 6. He has very good technique, very good ability to track back and recover. Maybe he will try to find a new challenge in January, if it is possible."

Fellaini has been in the staring XI for his last seven international appearances as Belgium topped their qualifying group for Euro 2016, finishing two points clear of Wales.

After five years at Everton, Fellaini moved to Old Trafford in a deal worth £27.5m in September 2013.
