Fellaini Wary Of Revitalised Bournemouth

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is braced for a tough test on Saturday against a Bournemouth side buoyed by their stunning 1-0 win at Chelsea last weekend.

Louis van Gaal’s side head to The Vitality Stadium for a first-ever league encounter with the Cherries and will be targeting a swift response after bowing out of the Champions League in Wolfsburg on Tuesday.

The Reds may be favourites to take the spoils and stay in touch with the Barclays Premier League leaders but Fellaini expects the home side to be rejuvenated by their famous late triumph at Stamford Bridge, which lifted them out of the relegation zone.

"It will be a tough game as they will be confident, so we need to be ready to challenge them," the Belgian told MUTV. "We have to take the three points to stay near the top of the table.

"Tuesday night was a disappointment for everyone but we now have to make a quick recovery and focus on the next game.

"It’s an important month with a lot of games. Every player wants to show their quality and a win this weekend can give the players confidence again."
