Parlour: Poigba Price Tag 'Can Be Forgotten'

Ray Parlour believes Paul Pogba's £100m price tag will be quickly forgotten if he can help deliver the Premier league title.

Sky sources understand Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has begun negotiations with Juventus that could see Pogba return to Old Trafford in a world-record deal worth £100m.

Real Madrid have also been credited with a serious interest in the France midfielder but his acquisition could prove decisive in United's bid to reclaim the Premier League crown, according to Parlour.

The Sky Sports pundit told Sky Sports Saturday: "He's a tremendous player, there's no doubt about that, and he will deliver.

"Yes, £100m is a lot of money but he will be a real asset in that midfield area. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a great signing, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a great signing. It is going to be a real battle next season for the Premier League.

"It will be intriguing to see who gets who before the end of the window but certainly Pogba will be a great signing.

"People will look at that price tag but if he can deliver on a regular basis and win them the title then eveyone will forget that £100m very quickly. He would be brilliant for Manchester United."
