Ibrahimovic Working Hard During International Week
Zlatan Ibrahimovic might have been retired from international football since the summer but the Manchester United striker hasn't been taking it easy this week.
The 35-year-old, whose final match in Sweden colours was their 1-0 defeat to Belgium at Euro 2016, posted a picture on Instagram of himself in an oxygen mask, having seemingly put himself through his paces on a treadmill.
The picture was captioned: "There is no free time, there is hard work and objectives."
Ibrahimovic completed 56 appearances last season, both for his national team and for club side Paris St-Germain and appears to be keen to maintain that conditioning.
Manchester United play Liverpool live on Monday Night Football with Ibrahimovic likely to lead the line despite having only scored once in his past six appearances.
Jose Mourinho's side started the season brightly with three straight wins but back-to back defeats to rivals Manchester City and Watford and last weekend's draw with Stoke have left them down in sixth, five points behind league leaders City.
Liverpool, meanwhile, go into the game on the back of four straight victories in the Premier League.
