Latest Team News Ahead Of Watford Clash
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has provided the latest team news ahead of Saturday's clash with Watford in the Premier League.
The boss told MUTV Phil Jones is still missing after being injured during the goalless draw with Hull City, the last home game for the Reds. However, skipper Wayne Rooney is "fine" after being absent for the win at Leicester City through illness.
Mourinho selected Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly at centre-half at the King Power Stadium, while Marcos Rojo started at left-back before making way for Daley Blind.
"Every team needs four central defenders," continued Mourinho. "But we coped well without Eric. The other guys did very, very well.
"Now it’s time for Jones to be out and time for Eric to be in. Of course, we’re happy he played already that last match and he showed again security and understanding with the other guys, so we’re fine."
Watford, who won the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road 3-1, have doubts over Valon Behrami and Miguel Britos while Costel Pantilimon, Nordin Amrabat, Christian Kabasele and Roberto Peyrera are all sidelined.
