FA Issues Statement

The Football Association released the following statement at 17:00 GMT on Tuesday...

"Manchester United have been charged for failing to control its players.

"It follows an incident in the 35th minute of the FA Cup quarter-final match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday [Monday 13 March 2017].

"The club have until 6pm on Friday 17 March 2017 to respond to the charge."
