United's Home Misery

Manchester United set a club record against Swansea as they went 25 games unbeaten in a single league season for the first time.

But the 1-1 draw with a Swansea side currently in the Premier League relegation zone is also just the latest example of Jose Mourinho's struggles at Old Trafford.

Remarkably, United have now won only two of their last seven Premier League home games and have a far inferior record to all of their top-six rivals.

In fact, even Burnley have picked up more points at home, while Watford, Hull and Bournemouth have each won more matches in front of their own fans.

It leaves Mourinho with a Premier League win percentage of just 39 per cent at Old Trafford since becoming United manager last summer.

That's not only an inferior record to Sir Alex Ferguson but any United boss of the last 40 years - including Louis van Gaal and even David Moyes.

United won only nine home league games in that infamous 2013/14 season - one that finished with Ryan Giggs in caretaker control.

But even that tally cannot be matched following the failure to see off the Swans on Sunday.

A win over Crystal Palace in the final home game of the campaign would still leave United with only eight wins to show for Mourinho's first season at the helm.

United could yet finish with the best away record in the Premier League this season. But it's the issues at Old Trafford that need to be addressed if they are to improve next year.
