United Squad For Carrick's Testimonial

Manchester United's Champions League-winning Class of 2008 will reunite at Old Trafford this Sunday, kick-off 14:30 BST, to celebrate Michael Carrick's time at the club.

The midfielder's testimonial will see a host of former fan favourites back at the Theatre of Dreams under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson, who famously led the Reds to glory against Chelsea in Moscow nine years ago.

Scroll down to see the full list of players who will be involved in the match.....

Edwin van der Sar

The giant Dutchman was the hero of United's Champions League triumph, saving Nicolas Anelka's penalty to spark wild celebrations on a famous night for the club. Van der Sar also won four Premier League titles during his six years in Manchester.

Gary Neville

One of the most decorated players in United's 139-year history, Neville rose through the ranks at Old Trafford and would go on to captain the club with great success. The right-back made over 600 appearances for the Reds.

Wes Brown

A Treble-winner in 1999, Brown provided the assist for Cristiano Ronaldo's opener in Moscow. While he suffered some terrible luck with injuries, the defender played over 350 times for the club between 1998 and 2011.

Rio Ferdinand

Ferdinand is regarded as one of the finest defenders of his generation, and wore the captain's armband in Moscow, going on to lift the trophy with Ryan Giggs. Fans will undoubtedly be excited to see him rekindle his famous partnership with Nemanja Vidic on Sunday.

Nemanja Vidic

The former United captain was adored by fellow players and fans alike during his eight years in Manchester. The Serbian stalwart won a host of honours, including five Premier League titles and three League Cups, and was a rock at the back.

Mikael Silvestre

The Frenchman endeared himself to fans at Old Trafford when choosing United over Liverpool in 1999, before going on to score a double against them during a 2-1 win in 2004. In total, Silvestre made 361 appearances, winning five Premier League titles.

Patrice Evra

The much-loved left-back made an indelible mark on United's recent history, surpassing expectations after joining the club from Monaco in 2006. Evra is still fighting fit, having signed for Marseille in January, meaning we can expect to see him flying down the flank once again this weekend.

Michael Carrick

Of course, this weekend's match is all about one man. Carrick continues to be a superb servant to United; he has won just about all there is to win during his 11 years with the club, and will be deservedly recognised inside a packed Old Trafford on Sunday after signing another year-long extension to his contract.

Paul Scholes

A man who once shared the midfield with Carrick for club and country now shares a song with his former team-mate, having established himself as one of the best players in the United's history. Scholesy's rocket against Barcelona fired the Reds to the final in 2008, a goal that will live long in the memory.

Ryan Giggs

A true Reds legend and one-club man, Giggs' career at United spanned an incredible 24 years, during which time he won 13 Premier League titles. United's record appearance-maker held his nerve in Moscow to score our final penalty in the shoot-out, going on to lift yet another trophy.

Ji-sung Park

Nicknamed 'three lungs' for his unwavering work rate, Park was a popular player during his trophy-laden seven years at United. In a recent interview, Sir Alex Ferguson said: “My problem in the 2008 final, maybe I even regret it to this day, was I left Ji-sung Park out completely."

Owen Hargreaves

Another spot-kick scorer in Moscow, Hargreaves joined United from Bayern Munich in 2007 and went on to make just 39 appearances for the club before joining Manchester City in 2011. Despite his injury troubles, Hargreaves won both the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds.

Anderson (non-playing guest)

The former United midfielder was also chosen to take a penalty against Chelsea, having made 38 appearances for the Reds during the 2007/08 campaign. Unfortunately, the Brazilian will play no part in Sunday's game due to injury, but will be in attendance at Old Trafford.

Darren Fletcher

Fletch, who has just signed for Stoke City, became an integral part of the Reds' squad during 12 years in the team, playing 342 games for the club and scoring 24 goals. His commitment to the United cause was typified by his successful battle with ulcerative colitis later in his Reds career.

Wayne Rooney

United's current captain knows all about Carrick's incredible feats, having played alongside him since 2006. Rooney was key to the Reds' success in Moscow, and became the club's all-time top scorer earlier this year, surpassing Sir Bobby Charlton's long-standing record.

Louis Saha

United's triumph in Moscow came at the very end of Saha's four years at the club. After joining the Reds in 2004, the Frenchman also won two Premier League titles and a League Cup, scoring 42 goals in all competitions.

Dimitar Berbatov

The silky striker regularly lit up Old Trafford during his time at the club, and was the Premier League's joint-top scorer during the 2010/11 campaign, a season which saw him score a memorable hat-trick against Liverpool. In total, he scored 56 times in 149 games for United.

The Reds will be up against an All-Stars squad which features a number of familiar faces...

Shay Given, Phil Neville, Michel Salgado, Jamie Carragher, John Terry, Eric Abidal, Joan Capdevila, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Marcos Senna, Gaizka Mendieta, Clarence Seedorf, Damien Duff, Richard Garcia, Michael Owen, Robbie Keane, Eidur Gudjohnsen.
